Trace YOUR Picks Results 2/1/2014

This was a sports filled Saturday! With everything from Wisconsin losing another home game, Arizona losing their first game, Wichita and Syracuse staying unbeaten. So many games in all sports but we settled with 5 games. 1 of the games tipped off before the 6 pm time. The game picker is sorry for that and everyone will receive a win in that game but no bonus points will be given for early picking and a correct pick because everyone missed the pick. Lets get to the results!

Prop #1
The ole SWAC conference. A very entertaining conference because by the time the tournament rolls around the SWAC champion's overall record is normally around .500 or even below .500 because they schedule such insane opponents and along with the fact most of these teams are pretty terrible but the conference favorite, Texas Southern went on the road to middle of the pack Alabama A&M. 100% of the pickers picked Texas Southern and Texas Southern disappointed the crew very much. Down 19-7 just 7 min into the game it was on uphill battle for most of the game but they battled their way back to a tie game with 7 seconds to go and a 3 point shot by Alabama A&M was off the mark but a foul on that very shot by Texas Southern sent A&M to the line very the virtual win. Jeremy Crutcher missed the first but made the second and Alabama A&M would go on to win 63-62

Prop #2
We go to the Women's side of college basketball for a clash of top 25 teams. Its tough to beat Baylor anywhere but nearly impossible to stay competitive at Baylor. Texas was up for the challenge as they led by 1 at halftime but Baylor imposed themselves on Texas and the crowd wore down this Texas team as 44 points by Odyssey Sims and a finished 11-4 by Baylor sent Baylor to an easy 87-73 win

Prop #3
Carmelo Anthony against Lebron James! Almost as good as Kevin Durant v Lebron James but this prop wasnt about the game but about Carmelo Anthony putting the ball in the basket or lack there of for you under folks! It was just a week or so ago that Melo put 60 at the garden so doing half that would be no problem right? The Heat are one of the best defensive teams in the league and they frustrated the streaking Knicks to a point they only scored 91 points and turned it over 17 times, including 7 by Melo. Knicks also missed 9 free throws and Melo contributed 4 of those misses. It came down to Carmelo Anthony shooting 8 of 17 from the floor for 26 points.

Prop #4
The game picker stretched this one as evident by the immense one sided picking in the prop. Two of the games best Sidney Crosby and Patrick Kane were paired together to gobble up a bunch of points. When it came down to it the pickers knew what they were doing. They combined for just 5 shots and missed all of them and they didn't have their hand in any goals and they teams actually managed a combined 2 goals. It was impossible for them to even go over 4. This was an easy pick for the gamers but one guy...haha whoops

Prop #5
This game was called due to the time issue. Everyone picked Wichita St by 25 and they managed to win by just 14 which gave no one any bonus points

The Bulls on the road at the Pelicans... It just smelled like disaster for the Bulls as their horrific offense continued to a tune of just 79 points. They shot just 39% but pulled down 16 offensive rebounds.. Imagine if they hadn't had offensive rebounds. The Pelicans didnt play much better but Anthony Davis dominated offensively and defensively leading the win for the Pelicans 88-79.

TB #2
Another Saves competition but this time it was Jonas Hiller between the pipes against the warm city playing hockey Dallas Stars. It's all about putting shots on the net and Hiller stopping them but in this game it became a battle as neither goalie wanted to give up an shots and the shots taken was very average as Hiller got shot at 26 times and stopped all by 1. For a total of 25 shots.
