Alright now that the standings are up to date, we are ready to push forward for a new 5 games!! Each and everyday we are going to try and throw out new and exciting props! Games need to be so much more than who wins and who loses but by how much, how many shots are they taking and how many rebounds do they pull down. Otherwise why keep all these stats!! They don't keep all these stats for my late night number crunching do they?... Naw its so we have some baseline to use for Trace YOUR Picks competition! Of Course! So ask your friends to join and pick and lets all compete against each other! There will be an advantage for joining now because in the not so way distant future you will be picking for more than just fun but for now we will stick to trying to figure out where these numbers will fall!! Trace YOUR Picks Results 1/30/2014
Most of the picks for yesterday are gamers were undecided, as nearly ever prop was evenly split! So it came as no surprise that the props themselves were very competitive and very tight! Lets get right down to it!
Prop #1
The 7-footer averaging 7.8 rebounds did more scoring for the Pacers than he did rebounding! As Georgia and Stephenson pulled down the rebounds instead. Hibbert managed just 6 rebounds and 4 of those were offensive rebounds. Shots were being missed but Hibbert was not a defensive rebounding factor.
Prop #2
47 fouls. Each team won a half by at least 15 points. 16 3pointers. 29 offensive rebounds. The game between Idaho St and Sacramento St had just about everything! It started out as a halftime lead for Idaho St of 15 and ended up a game winning score for Sacramento St of 84-78. It doesn't much worse than that to lose your 2 game streak on!

Another game that turned on a dime with one team's inability to put the ball in the basketball but this team it was on the Women's side. The time was 12:21 in the 2nd half and the #8 ranked team in the country was up 53-44 but by the time the close hit 4:52 they were down 57-53. A nice 13-0 run by NC State and they were off and running as NC State never trailed again and won the game 72-63

Alex Ovechkin had scored goals in 6 of his last 8 games so it came as no surprise that most of our pickers, picked him to not score a goal but this was not his day! Ovechkin had a +/- of -5, he only get 2 shots on the goal and the Capitals lost ugly 5-2 to the Blue Jackets! Neither of the goals did Ovechkin have a hand in.

Averages sat right on the prop but judging by the pickers this was to be a landslide but the scoring tonight for the Warriors came in the post rather than their guard play. 66 of their 111 points came in the post! Curry managed to shoot just 10 times and even made 8 of those, including 4 for 4 from 3! Thompson managed just 14 shots and made 6 of those. Neither player got to the line very often which brought their totals to 22 pts for Stephen Curry and 16 for Klay Thompson for grand total of 38 total points

A game that started about as ugly as it can. Stephen F Austin was up 18-3 before the committed their first defensive foul. They were up 34-15 with 4 min left in the 1st half! As the dogs were called off Stephen F Austin played very sloppy, fouled alot, turned it over and gave up a bunch of offensive rebounds and the led never got worst than 21 from then on. It ultimately closed at a final score of 64-48 a modest 16 point win

This was the fun prop of the night! Endless of thought processes and endless of answers! Would it be a high shot night? Would there be a ton of saves or a ton of goals? What would the total goalie save night be? Welp the NHL Team's averaged 27.15 saves per game. The highest saves was the Sabres and the fewest was the Devils with 14. A few teams even used multiple goals! 64 goals were scored on a high scoring evening! Goalies saved just 89% of the shots which was down from the average of 91%. All this comes to a grand total of 543 saves tonight.
Lots of sports went down yesterday but these were the fun ones! How did you do? Lets find out!!
Another tiebreaker decided this day! Between Bob S and Lexi S... Bob S was closer in picking out much Stephen F Austin would beat Abilene Christian! Father in Law bested the Daughter in Law!

Alright Sports Pickers!! Yesterday was a wild day in sports and a lot of big upsets and alot of close calls! Our 5 picks were not immune to the upset bug or the close upset bug! Lets get right to it!
Prop #1
It was ugly right from the get go for Orlando as they fell behind 13 after the 1st quarter and 15 at halftime and thats were the final ended up as Toronto WON 98-83
Prop #2
Houston was again without Harden but again it didn't matter as everyone of the starters for the Rockets scored in double figures and the Rockets held off the Mavericks 117-115 but Dirk managed to rain in 38 points
Prop #3
2 big upsets happened in college basketball last night Penn St winning at Ohio St and as you probably guess Northwestern beating Wisconsin in Madison. Terrible Terrible offensive showing for either team as Wisconsin lost 56-65 to Northwestern!
Prop #4
On the Women's side of basketball another close upset nearly happened! TCU had the top 15 ranked Oklahoma St down by 1 point with 15 seconds left before Oklahoma St Cowgirl Roshunda Johnson hit a jumper with 7 seconds left and the Cowgirls won 49-48
Prop #5
In a high scoring affair for the Blackhawks, who won 5-2, Patrick Kane also was in on the action! Kane got his first point on an assist to Toews and then 4 minutes later netted his own goal BUT that was all the scoring for Kane as he finished with 2 points.

The game picker through in a wild one as D1 Edwardsville faced off against NCCAA Crowley's Ridge. As you can probably imagine it wasn't that close of a game. Edwardsville being favored at around 40-50 points actually only one by 29. 77-48

The King squared off against one of the best scorers of our generation in Kevin Durant! Lebron and Durant matched each other point for point but Lebron needed rebounds and assists for this prop and with all the shooting (and making), Lebron only managed 3 assists and 3 rebounds and the Durant led Thunder rolled over the Heat 112-95

Another bad SEC shooting night for Arkansas as they hit a bunch of 3's but managed to lose at home to Missouri and only score 71 points

Even with James Harden out a huge 3rd quarter for the Rockets led them over the Spurs 97-90

With 8 goals in the first 2 periods this prop clearly was over before it even got going! Calgary managed to tack on another goal in OT to beat the Blackhawks 5-4

This one game down to the wire as Stephen Curry had to opportunities at the end of a tight game to hit a 3 pointer to push his total points over 25 but he missed both 3's and the Warriors lost at home to the Wizards 88-85. Curry finished with 23 points

The Blue Jackets were up 2-0 going into the 3rd period but a flurry of goals in the 3rd period for the Hurricanes led to a WIN for the Hurricanes 3-2

1/27/2014 Trace Your Picks
I am a huge sports fan and I like to think i know more about sports than anyone but DO I? The answer to that question is a simple...NO! haha! Lets take a look and see how much sports knowledge all of you have by picking sports props. From International Basketball to Women's College Volleyball we will go all over the globe and you will make picks. What will you win? The satisfaction of being the best sports picker who actually views this blog!
There will be 10 props per day and to win the day, you must pick the most right. Along with the 10 props there will be 2 tiebreakers (to break the tie for the day winner). Finally everyone will need to pick their favorite prop and try to accumulate the longest win streak!

- To post your picks for each prop, simply comment Prop #1 and put your pick and then type LOCK.
- Each player needs 10 Prop # Lock comments and 2 TB # Lock comments and then finally a Streak Lock comment.
- If you miss the deadline or forget than you will just lose that Prop.
- Each prop must be picked before the set time (The time is in central)
- There will be 3 standings.... One for daily record. One for overall record. One for streak leaderboard!
