It seems like win Bob S gets his streak right all he wants to do is get 2 in a row because he has reached there for the 3rd time! He is the lone active streak!

The game picker was on top of his game yesterday as 2 people went 0-5 and the winners managed just 2 out of 5 wins! The Standings tomorrow will reflect a change. Since all but 1 day has been 5 games. The game will reflect that and we will be taking out the first day 10 games! (however the daily standings will remain the same) So that everyone will be on a level playing field. As for today! The games will try to replicate what happened yesterday! Good Luck!

Well we are getting more and more games on the dock and Bob S is holding strong up at the top of the leader board but there are man charging! How did everyone fare today?
Prop #1
The typically home warriors of Arkansas got a visit from Alabama! Wildly considered the fastest 40 minutes in basketball, the Razorbacks have been struggling to score wither it be fast or slow. The beginning of this game was no exception as the Razorbacks were down 24-26 after the 1st half. The 2nd half would pick up in scoring as Bobby Portis beat the Razorback's record for most points by a freshmen, 35 points for Portis helped Arkansas win 65-58
Prop #2
The two best scorers in the league TOGETHER! How many points would they both score? The Thunder played first and Durant was at his norm but slightly below that, he sent 20 shots at the rim and 11 of them went in, including 3 3's. He wouldnt get to the line very much which hurt is overall total which ended up at 26 points. James was next as he headed out west to play the Clippers, this game would end up being very tight and Lebron was his usual self. Rebounding, Asts and Points just a stat filling day but points was the important stat. He to send 20 shots up and again made 11 of them including 3 3's but went to the line a few more times and ended up scoring 31 points for a grand total of 57!
Prop #3
Battle of NHL Heavy Weights.... Who would win? Chicago was going to Anaheim. Who would be the better team tonight. It appeared to be a battle between Crawford and Hiller and it was that way till early in the 2nd period when Hossa netted a critical goal to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead and that lead would stand till an insurance goal by Toews would be netted to give the final score of 2-0 Blackhawks
Prop #4
In Women's College Basketball when you are a top 25 team you are considered so much better than just being a top 25 team because in Women's College Basketball it is very very top heavy! So Oklahoma St is at home and a top 15 team! So this wasn't suppose to be close at all... Kansas didn't get the Memo as they never were down more than 5 in the first half before settling 34-37 Oklahoma St lead at halftime. The 2nd half was more of the same and Kansas even took a quick lead but Oklahoma St controlled the half for most of the half before the final seconds got interesting. Oklahoma St was up just 2 points with 11 seconds left and Charlicia Harper would miss a game tieing layup! Oklahoma St would go on to win 76-74
Prop #5
A unanimous decision by the pickers that one of these teams (Hawks and Pelicans) would not score 100 points and the averages agreed with that notion. After the first quarter of scoring the Pelicans helded a 28-24 lead and the Hawks appeared to need to pick the scoring up if they were going to reach 100 pts. At halftime the score sat at 51-47 Hawks. The hawks scored 27 times in the 2nd quarter and were now on pace to go over the century mark but the Pelicans managed just 19 points and would now need to pick up the scoring!
When the 3rd quarter finished the score was just 75-71 in favor of the Hawks. The hawks were right on the pace for 100 pts exactly while the Pelicans would need a big 4th quarter to get to 100. This prop would come down to the wire. The Pelicans would go on a fury of scoring midway through the 4th quarter and would be the first team to score 100 with 20 seconds left but the Hawks still had just 95 points. They would need 5 more points. Jeff Teague would score a layup to make their total 97 with 11 seconds. Teague would get fouled a few seconds later and make it 98 with 6 seconds left. Then the Hawks would get the ball back with 6 seconds left and Teague would hit a layup with virtually no time left to make the final score 105-100 Pelicans.
TB #1
9 top 25 teams played against teams not in the top 25. How many would lose?
Quickly... 1 team was down 14 with 12 min left
2 more went into overtime. 6 of the 9 games were controlled by top 25 teams while San Diego St was down 14 with 12 min left but would manage to storm back and Win. While Pittsburgh was on the ropes against Mami Florida but managed to win in OT. Oklahoma was down early but stormed back only to Lose to West Virginia in OT. There was alot of excitement but only 1 team fell
TB #2
A lop sided match up between one of the best Penguins between one of the worst Sabres. Penguins would control this game for most of it as they sent 13 shots at Ryan Miller in the 1st and then another 15 shots in the 2nd period. After all them shots they held a 3-1 lead over the Sabres and the Penguins eased up on the shots to protect the lead and managed just 6 shots in the 3rd. For a total of 34 shots!
Those are the results! How did you do?
The picks were pretty terrible by the group and there was a 3 way tie at 2-3 between Cole C, Lexi S and Joey W and the tiebreak #1 was tied between Cole C and Joey W as they went to how many shots would the Penguins have and Cole C picked it right on the head 34... Winning on this rough picking day!

The new games are here and hopefully the games can be just as close as they were last night because that was fun! There is a new player prop to the collection tonight so have fun figuring that one out! Otherwise a couple more streaks are on the line and lets strive for 5!

As the game picker decided to make things more tricky for the gamers, the games started to get a little bit harder to pick. The harder they got to pick the closer each game got. Only one of the games was lop sided as each game came down to the final seconds to decided the winner of each prop! It was exciting but also tough. Lets get right to the results
Prop #1
This match up included the very disappointing Lakers against the equally disappointing (much better disappointed team tho) Timberwolves. Timberwolves jumped on the Lakers early going up 11-4 and that continued most of the 1st quarter for a 12 pt lead after the 1st quarter. The Timberwolves extended that lead to 25! midway through the 2nd quarter before the Lakers decided to show up and finished the half on a 25-12 run. The 2nd half was much of the same as the Lakers got within 8 but the lead went back to 11 going into the 4th quarter. Lakers never got within 7 but with 30 seconds left the Lakers were down just 8 but a foul by Nick Young sent Rubio to the lineup. He made both and the lead sat at 10 with 29 seconds left. Nick Young sent up a 3 pt shot with 22 seconds left and it was off the mark and the wolves got the ball and won 109-99. Right on the dot for the Timberwolves 10 or more pickers!
Prop #2
As evident by the pickers (who all picked Holy Cross) the rankings were the key factor in this game as Holy Cross was on paper the better team but on the road at Colgate. It is interesting to note that while the game pickers were 6 for 6 picking Holy Cross, in Vegas' eyes they were actually 2 pt underdogs on the road. How'd the confusing game go? Well it started out like the game pickers were clearly incorrect because the home team Colgate came out firing, leading 21-9 7 min into the game but Holy Cross fought back and was only down 5 at halftime. Colgate again came out of the half firing again going back up 10 before Holy Cross again fought back! With 29 seconds to go and it was all tied up at 65 and Colgate had the ball. Colgate would turn it over and Holy Cross would turn that into a 67-65 lead with 25 seconds left. A foul, some free throw and a last second 3 by Colgate got the lead to a Holy Cross win 69-68!
Prop #3
The odd game of the night. Could UCONN really beat SMU by 46!! Well any and all of the best Women Basketball players are at UCONN. UCONN's back up's could be ranked #2 in the nation behind the starters if they had their own team. This team's 3 string players are better than top 25 teams first string. So letting up is tough to do. UCONN was up 19-0 before SMU scored a pt. This was always going to be ugly but how ugly was the question here. Huskies were up 35 at the half. The 2nd half was just as bad as SMU couldnt make a shot and Uconn couldnt miss. They ended up winning 102-41 for a 61 point win!! Amazing!
Prop #4
Another close prop as Tampa Bay went to Minnesota! Only one goal was scored in the 1st 2 periods as the Wild led the Lightning by a score of 1-0 but early in the 3rd a 2nd goal was scored as the Wild went up 2-0 but would it stay there? It appeared so until with 7 min left in the half Tampa Bay got on the board and the goal total landed at 3 and would stay there as the Wild won 2-1
Prop #5
The most exciting prop happened on the point total for Butler against Marquette! It appeared the this was going to be an easy win for the under 62 pickers because Butler had managed just 25 pts in the 1st half. It would take 38 pts for the Overs and 37 for the Unders. Who would win? 14 pts in the first 5 min of the 2nd half sent Butlers total to 39 just like that! The Bulldogs would keep on scoring bringing their total to 57 with nearly 6 minutes left!! Only 6 pts needed in the last 6 min of the game but Butler would go the next 4.5 min without a single point. A free throw and lay up brought the total to 60 with 30 seconds left. A Marshall jumper brought the total to 62 with 18 seconds left. Dunham missed 2 3pt's with 8 seconds left and the game was ran out and Butlers total stopped at 62!!
TB #1
There seems to be a trend when a player prop is involved with the Warriors. The Warriors decided to lose at home without scoring any point. This player prop was no different as the Warriors managed to score just 79 pts at home and lost to the Bobcats. Curry managed to shoot pretty average going 8 of 18 but was just 1 of 7 from 3 but added 11 assists! Curry didnt manage to get to the line either which brought is total to an unusually low 17 pts
TB #2
Goaltending was at its best tonight as 4 games scored 3 or goals. 9 of the 18 teams playing scored 1 or less goals!! Which brought the overall total to just 38 goals in 9 games!
Thats the games results. Only 1 of the games didnt fall within 1 of the game total! It would be mighty impressive if you didnt extremely good this night but lets see how they went!

The last few days the game picker has seen alot of picks be the same among the pickers! The game maker has become frustrated with that and today we look to change that trend with a bunch of games that could go any direction but which direction will YOU go? Joey O has gone 4-1 the last 2 days and the only other time he played he went 4-1 and the Game Picker has decided to try and bring him back to reality! What will happen? Who will win? WILL MATT HOLLIDAY EVER TOUCH HOME PLATE!!

Well the 5 games put out today stirred up alot of excitement as they are but one had a chance to be very exciting! As far as sports in general on Monday. It was just as exciting, Syracuse stayed unbeaten after a feisty game from Notre Dame. A huge game in the Oklahoma St-Iowa St game that went into 3OT. There were a few down to the wire games in the NBA as Spurs came from down 12 in the 4th to win against the Pelicans. Foye hit a buzzer 3 for the Nuggets to beat the Clippers. 2 game in the NHL went into OT and surprise surprise they involved the Senators and Red Wings and again surprise surprise they lost in OT. They have lost in extra time a combined 24 times.
As for our games lets get right to it!
Prop #1
Bulls on the road out west. 2 evil things this Chicago team or for any Chicago team. Chicago was 5-11 against the Western Conference. So this game played out much like it should have... Chicago was down 12 after the first quarter and played Sacramento even for 2 quarters and then lost the 4th by 15 and it really doesn't help when you shoot 28% from the field. When you do that you lose 70-99
Prop #2
The game between Fairfield and Rider was very competitive for most of the game. It looked like this was an easy 9 or less pick until Rider decided to start playing midway through the 2nd half they had built a 60-48 lead with about 10 min to go. This prop was going to come down to the wire! They traded baskets for the next 9 min. Rider was up 10 with Jimmy Taylor going to the free throw line. He made one to push the lead to 11 with 30 seconds to go. With 13 seconds to go Steve Johnston drilled a 3 and Rider ran out the close for a 8 point win. A tough lost for the Rider 10 or more and A hard win for the Fairfield 9 or less picks.
Prop #3
One of Women's basketballs best scorers took the court and Odyssey Sims and she didnt disappoint but would that be enough to be 30 or more or 29 or less? Before the total is said.... Sims jacked up 24 shots and had 9 free throw attempts. Needless to say should would have the opportunity to score 30 or more but her shot was not there as she only made 8 of the 24 shots. She did pour in 8 of 9 free throws but her total stopped at 27 points ( a very good game but not enough for the 30 or more picks)
Prop #4
After giving up 5 goals against Toronto on saturday Craig Anderson had to go face the Penguins in Pittsburgh. How would he fare? Well Penguins made every attempt to put 10 goals on Anderson because they sent 48 shots at Craig Anderson but Anderson forgot about that Toronto performance because he stopped all but 2 of those shots but even that wasnt enough because Fluery stopped all but 1 as the Penguins beat the Senators in OT 2-1
Prop #5
The first college hockey prop of our competition! Boston U was in the Semifinals of the Beanpot against the number 1 team in the nation Boston College. This was not one of Boston College's better games as they faced off against Arch-Rival Boston U but they built a 2-0 led going into the 3rd period but a goal by Boston U all but ended the 3 or more pickers. Boston College threw in an empty netter and capped the final at 3-1 but the bet would go to the 2 or less pickers
TB #1
The best team in the NBA the Indiana Pacers faced off against one of the worst the Orlando Magic. The Magic do have also one of the worst defenses so how would an average of 73.1 starting lineup for the Pacers fare? It appeared to be a starting lineup resting game for the Pacers as the starters match the reserves in minutes and the points managed to do that same as the Pacers racked up 98 points and the starters got only 49 of them and the reserves got 49.
TB #2
The pickers were unanimous in saying the New Jersey Institute of Technology would get the win over UMASS-Lowell. The picked NJIT from 3 to 17. So this clearly was to easy of a pick or was it? I guess they have to play the game.. NJIT was up 20-17 with 12 min left in the 1st when UMASS went on a 23-9 run to close the half and lead 40-29 at halftime. The start of the 2nd half was alot of the same as UMASS started the 2nd half on a 11-3 run to extend the lead to 51-32. The rest of the game was alot of titter totting with UMASS never letting the boat tip as NJIT never got less than 8 behind. UMASS finished the game winning 73-64
Those were the results! How did you fare on a rather close sports night!
Today's results ended with a tiebreaker between Joey O and Ian S as they both finished up 4-1. It came down to the Pacers starting lineup and neither pick was real close but Ian was 2 points closer than Joey O. Winning the Day!

Trace YOUR Picks Results 2/2/2014
As i am sure everyone knows the Super Bowl was yesterday and we did a Super Bowl Edition here at Trace YOUR Picks! The picks were fun to make and but only 2 props were even fun to watch. This game started ugly and it ended ugly. This has to go down as one of the most disappointing Super Bowls in recent memory. I love points just like the next guy and i even love defense as well but this game to me didn't have either. The Denver Broncos seem to be playing in Seattle territory most of the game (after the 1st quarter). Seattle's defense last night was dominating don't get me wrong but it ended up being a bend don't break defense with very very opportunistic turnovers. Manning ended up completing nearly 70% of his passes. The problem was they wouldn't take what was given to them. They had crossing routes and 5 or 6 yard plays nearly ever play. They were being given 6 yards a play and decided not to take it. Not to mention every time a flow would happen they would just turn it over. Don't even get me started on the soft Denver defense because that's just what it was, for the most part i believe their front was pretty strong but once a runner bounced to the edges or got by the front (on passes), it was like swiss cheese just awful! Thats my recap lets see the prop recaps.
Prop #1
As i mentioned before the Denver front was strong and it showed limiting Lynch to just 39 yards on 15 carriers. Well below the prop and well below his average. Thats the only thing Denver did right...stopped the main weapon and still lost by 35
Prop #2
Denver lost because they couldnt generate big plays and they showed up in this prop. Manning chucked the ball around 49 times. If i just told you that number you would have thought Manning have close to 400 yards but he only managed 280 which goes to show you how little yardage the Broncos were getting per pass
Prop #3
Another prop suffered by the blow out and by constant turnovers. 2 early field goals in the 1st quarter saw this prop possibly being easy over but as the score grew, field goals became useless to one time and opportunities weren't there for another. Those early field goals were the only ones in the game.
Prop #4
The most exciting prop of the game. As the score got out of hand, you would have thought seattle would hand off the Lynch a ton but Wilson kept throwing the ball around generating 206 yards and because Seattle wouldnt give up the big play Manning was having all kinds of trouble getting chucks of yards to be able to beat Wilson by 80 yards. When it came down to it Manning ended with 280 passing and Wilson with 206 but with the 80 extra yards, he finished with 286 and winning the prop
Prop #5
Really? A recap of who won the game? Seattle showed up at the game and Denver didnt... nuff said 43-8
TB #1
There was literally 3 punts in this game and 2 didnt even go over 31 yards. Jon Ryan bombed the big one at 45 yards
TB #2
Because the game was out of hand the final score happened in the 4th quarter at 11:55
So lets see if everyone played better than the Denver Broncos (who will be the butt of Super Bowl jokes for awhile).

A rough day for the streakers as well as both Bob S and Ian S tried to pass the 2 game recorded by failed with actually the same prop pick. Joey O came back to play and picked up a streak win and currently he has an Active streak! Good Luck
There are you results for the day! 6 played and 4 of us played like the Broncos and 2 played like the Seahawks. Is it odd that the two best players yesterday also picked the Seahawks?
The games for Monday 2/3/2014 will be up in just a little bit!
